Job summary

Wealthfront is hiring a Frontend Engineer to join a cross‑functional scrum team. You will design and develop new client-facing features using our Design System, while improving infrastructure and developer productivity across the web platform.

You will collaborate with backend, mobile, designers, and product managers to ship high‑quality code, triage issues, and mentor peers in a fast-paced environment. This role supports US-based remote work or Palo Alto hybrid in-office arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a web-focused engineering role.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge and DOM APIs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend, mobile, designers, and PMs to build new features and enhance existing ones.
• Triage and resolve operational issues ensuring mission-critical web systems run smoothly.
• Contribute to web platform infrastructure projects to improve health and delivery velocity.
• Participate in recruiting activities such as interviewing.
• Provide mentorship to engineers on the team.
