Job summary

Facet Wealth is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join our Engineering & Product teams and help build world-class software used by our planners and clients. You will work across modern front-end and back-end tools, tackling large problems, and grow in a peer programming environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of full stack web development or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in React 16+.
• Relational databases experience, MySQL is preferred.
• Experience with React, AWS ECS/EC2/RDS/S3.
• REST architectural style and clean architecture knowledge.
• Git and Bitbucket proficiency.
• Frontend toolchains (Webpack, Gulp, Grunt).
• Frontend testing tools and frameworks (Mocha/Chai, BrowserStack, Puppeteer).
• Automated testing (unit, integration, regression, performance).
• Responsive design and PWAs; Linux familiarity; Docker familiarity.
• Experience with FinTech APIs such as Plaid, Finicity, Yodlee, APEX, Orion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Planners to define solutions to problems.
• Design, develop, and test code written in Golang and React and deployed to AWS.
• Estimate tickets in a ScrumBan process.
• Commit code to Git/Bitbucket in a mainline development environment.
• Write tests to ensure code quality.
• Pair program with other developers as desired.
• Participate in daily standups.
• Attend Tech Stack Tuesdays to learn new skills.
• Attend Fast Fridays focused on performance improvements.
• Participate in bi-annual Hackathons and win prizes.
• Continuous learning and personal growth.
