Job summary

Sentinel Group in Wakefield, MA seeks a Frontend Software Engineer to own the frontend stack and build secure, scalable web apps. You will collaborate with analysts and peers to deliver frontend features and modernize legacy systems within a hybrid in-office setting.

The role requires Typescript and React.js expertise, AWS experience, and a strong understanding of REST/OpenAPI/JWT. Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship, salary $95k–$105k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS.
• Proficiency with protocols and data formats (REST, JSON, OpenAPI, JWT).
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (1 day in the office).
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and peers to build software you are proud of.
• Develop frontend features or components for applications and demo them to stakeholders.
• Help converting legacy applications into web-based apps following CI.
• Build secure and well-defined internal and external applications that communicate via APIs.
• Contribute to tools and processes to strengthen our development.
