Job summary

Sentinel Group is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Wakefield, MA team. The role owns the frontend stack and works with analysts and peers to build secure, scalable web applications. Hybrid work requires 1 day in the office with in-person trainings and workshops as needed.

The ideal candidate has strong TypeScript and ReactJS skills, experience with AWS, REST/JSON/OpenAPI/JWT, and a drive to learn and adapt in a collaborative environment. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS.
• Proficiency in REST, JSON, OpenAPI, JWT.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (1 day in the office).
• Authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and peers to build software you are proud of.
• Develop frontend features or components for applications and demo them to stakeholders.
• Help converting legacy applications into web-based applications that follow CI.
• Build secure and well-defined internal and external applications that communicate securely through our APIs.
• Contribute to tools and processes to strengthen our development.
