Job summary

The Motley Fool is seeking a Frontend Engineer contractor to contribute to the Market Tech team's order page platform. You will build components in a Next.js/React stack and expand CMS-based content for marketers, all in a remote US capacity.

You’ll work with AI-assisted tooling, ensure performance, and own critical purchase paths with end-to-end tests. This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate and meaningful ownership in a high-traffic revenue platform.

Qualifications

• Expert-level React and TypeScript experience required.
• Strong Next.js experience including App Router and server components.
• Experience with headless CMS and content modeling in Sanity is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance optimization, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend components for the order page platform.
• Extend Sanity CMS capabilities and content types for publishers.
• Write and maintain end-to-end tests (Playwright or similar).
• Improve routing and app architecture for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams via Zoom, Jira, and Slack.
• Explore AI-assisted content generation and testing workflows in the purchase path.
