Job summary

AFFIRM is a remote-first company building privacy-aware consumer web experiences. As a Software Engineer II in MPE, you’ll work on high-traffic web experiences, experiments, and marketing integrations with React, TypeScript, and modern tooling.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, analytics, and data engineering to ship reliable features, ensure privacy considerations, and own parts of the system at scale. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to turn simple problems into well-structured, testable code.
• Comfort navigating large codebases and reviewing others' code.
• Proactive in growth, feedback, and collaboration.
• Strong verbal and written communication for a global team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
