Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company redefining how people pay over time. This front-end role is part of the Marketplace and App Experience, building across mobile and web and collaborating with product, design, analytics, and other engineers.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps using native or cross-platform languages like React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to take a simple problem and implement a solution that interfaces with multiple components.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics through the full development lifecycle.
• Support operations and maintain team artifacts including metrics and on-call efforts.
• Contribute to team growth through interview participation and knowledge sharing.
