Job summary

Affirm is seeking a software engineer to join our front-end focused teams. You will help ship web apps with React or Vue and mobile apps with React Native, contributing to the Home hub and related product journeys.

You will break down projects, collaborate with product, design and analytics, design and launch scalable APIs, review code, and own growth through feedback and interviews. This remote-first role emphasizes ownership, clear communication, and building reusable, well-tested components

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs using Kotlin or Python.
• Able to translate business problems into scalable software solutions and write clear, testable code.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks, deliver in phases, and collaborate for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design & analytics to balance risks and trade-offs.
• Support operations, metrics, and on-call efforts for team artifacts.
