Job summary

State Farm is seeking a self-driven Software Engineer for Team Thundercloud, supporting Hercules Rep Desktop, the primary interface for Contact Center representatives. You will join a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality solutions and collaborating across Claims, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in frontend development with Angular.js or React, experience with AWS, and familiarity with contact center tech and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3+ years frontend development with Angular.js or React.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Route53, CloudWatch).
• Experience with contact center tech (Amazon Connect, Contact Routing, Call Recording).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) and IaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Understanding of responsive design and modern UI/UX principles.
• Familiar with monitoring/observability and QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Claims, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Implement engineering best practices and drive data-driven product development.
• Contribute to future platform migration to Angular and micro-frontends.
• Develop solutions to reduce handle time and improve customer satisfaction.
• Support delivery, deployment, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
