Sift, a hardware data platform, seeks a frontend-focused product engineer to own the Agents surface and collaborate with customers to shape features. You will ship MVPs through iterations, ensuring smooth interactions for streaming responses and large datasets.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years building high-performance web apps with React/TypeScript and show a strong eye for micro-interactions and UI polish, while exploring AI-driven agent capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Own a product area: talk to customers, decide what to build, and ship it.
• Built complex, high-performance web apps with React/TS or similar.
• Attention to micro-interactions, latency, and polish that differentiate interfaces.
• Curious about new AI products and ready to experiment with agents.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers and partner with product to turn real review workflows into agent capabilities.
• Build the frontend surfaces where Sift Agents live and ensure a great feel.
• Design interaction patterns for agent UX: streaming responses, long tasks, interruptions.
• Render agent findings alongside telemetry and keep UI fast with large data.
• Collaborate with backend/full-stack engineers on API design powering agent sessions.
