Job summary

Sift is seeking a Software Engineer, Frontend (Agentic AI) to own the frontend surfaces for Sift Agents and deliver fast, polished browser experiences.

You will talk directly to customers, shape features from MVP through each iteration, and collaborate with backend engineers on API design while pushing performance with Web Workers and advanced caching. This remote-friendly role offers a competitive salary range and equity; relocation to LA or SF is considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building high-performance web apps with React/TypeScript
• Ability to design polished frontend UX with attention to detail
• Curiosity about AI products and agentic interfaces
• Interest in performance optimization and browser rendering

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers and partner with product to turn real review workflows into agent capabilities
• Build the frontend surfaces where Sift Agents live and ensure a great UX
• Design interaction patterns for streaming responses and long-running tasks
• Render agent findings alongside telemetry and keep it fast with large datasets
• Push browser capabilities with Web Workers and advanced caching
• Contribute to the component library and collaborate on API design with backend engineers
