Job summary

Aretum is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to maintain and enhance a client application with a focus on accessibility and performance. Join an Agile, sprint-based environment delivering modern web solutions using React, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.

The role requires experience with Section 508 compliance, AWS, Git/GitHub, and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, user-focused applications.

Qualifications

• 3 years of frontend development experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
• Understanding of Section 508 compliance and WCAG standards.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to maintain the client application.
• Support development, enhancements, accessibility, integration, optimization, and maintenance.
• Ensure availability and correct operations.
• Work within a sprint-based development cycle.
• Utilize knowledge of the AWS cloud environment, Python backend and TypeScript front-end.
