Job summary

Aretum is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to maintain and enhance a client application. You will ensure accessibility, reliability, and performance in an Agile, sprint-based environment using modern web tech, RESTful APIs, and AWS.

Expect a role that emphasizes collaboration, security, and high-quality UI delivery. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in frontend development, strong JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3 skills, and experience with Section 508/WCAG, testing tools, and Git workflows within federal

Qualifications

3 years of frontend development experience
Bachelor's Degree (3 years of additional experience acceptable in lieu of degree)
Experience with modern HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
Experience with JavaScript development using modern standards and libraries
Understanding of Section 508 compliance and WCAG standards
Experience with accessibility testing tools (automated and manual)
Capable of consuming RESTful APIs
Experience using agile methodologies
Experience with version control systems
Experience creating web layouts from static images and views and templates in full-stack frameworks

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical support to maintain the client application
Provide support for development, enhancements, accessibility, integration, optimization, and maintenance
Ensure availability and correct operations
Work within a sprint-based development cycle
Utilize knowledge of the AWS cloud environment, Python backend and TypeScript front-end
