Position Summary

As a Frontend Coach, you will lead and develop teams by providing training, feedback, and guidance. You will communicate effectively across all levels of staff, support store operations, and drive initiatives to enhance customer service and business performance. Your responsibilities include managing store performance, developing staff, ensuring compliance with policies, and fostering a culture of belonging and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop teams through training, coaching, and active listening.
2. Support store operations with technology, merchandising, and business initiatives.
3. Model exceptional customer service standards and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
4. Manage financial performance by reviewing profit/loss statements, budgeting, and controlling expenses.
5. Hire, train, and mentor associates, setting clear expectations and recognizing contributions.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and support Walmart’s mission and values.
7. Build a workplace that embraces diversity, promotes belonging, and fosters continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of all relevant trainings and assessments. For facilities selling firearms or ammunition, specific background checks and certifications may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership or related field, and experience supervising multiple direct reports with responsibilities including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
