Job description

Overview

Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. The Frontend Central Product Integration Engineering (PIE) team drives leading‑edge process capability, best‑in‑class yield, high product quality, and rapid time to maturity through innovation and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Drive best‑in‑class product maturity, including bits per wafer (yield) and product grades (Repair Density and DPM), at the fastest speed and cycle of learning.
  • Apply depth knowledge of processes across different loops or functions (FEOL, MOL, CELL, BEOL) to identify the best optimum process integration solution.
  • Collaborate with YE, Device, RDA and Metrology teams to resolve top yield issues, develop inline transparency, and enable fast yield ramp while minimizing excursions.
  • Identify best known methods and business processes from DRAM/NAND sites and drive alignment and standardization across the network.
  • Travel to Micron sites as necessary for face‑to‑face collaboration.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in a process‑related role within the semiconductor industry.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong logical thinking and in‑depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication process flows, including process interactions and how changes impact yield, device performance, and reliability.
  • Solid understanding of DRAM and NAND operation and structure, with the ability to analyze parametric, probe, and quality data across both front‑end and back‑end assembly processes.
  • Strong model‑based problem‑solving skills combined with data‑driven decision making and effective presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of identifying and resolving structure‑and device‑related issues, including root‑cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility with job responsibilities and willingness to take initiative and assume additional responsibilities, including travel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build effective customer and coworker relationships.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills with a focus on fostering positive team dynamics.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective verbal and written communication skills.
