Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Front Store Clerk to join our Humboldt, SK location at Pharmasave #429.

Job Description:

The Front Store Clerk will assist the Front Store Manager with daily operations, collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience, and promote the store within the community.

• Part-time hours, approximately 4 to 20 hours per week.
• Typical shifts include Wednesday to Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Availability during weekdays and some weekends is required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and maintain a friendly attitude.
• Handle telephone inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Perform various tasks including cashiering, stocking shelves, and tidying aisles.
• Follow store policies regarding security and shoplifting prevention.
• Display products properly and organize merchandise for easy customer access.
• Develop product knowledge and learn about new products and store layout.
• Manage cash pickups and ensure sufficient change is available.
• Handle lottery and CBO tickets according to store procedures.
• Deal tactfully with difficult customers and refer complaints to the manager when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
• Implement merchandising techniques such as shelf labeling and stock rotation.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the store buyer of out-of-stock items.
• Assist with displays, windows, and seasonal promotions.
• Stay productive between customer interactions and perform additional duties as delegated.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Customer service and cashiering experience preferred.
• Clear and courteous communication skills.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Retail and merchandising experience are assets.
• Mature, cooperative attitude, professional appearance, and grooming.
• Must provide a Criminal Record Check due to the position's sensitive nature.

Schedule:

• Various shifts including 4-hour and 8-hour shifts.
• Afternoon and day shifts.
• Monday to Friday availability preferred.
