Job summary

BBVA USA in New York seeks a Front Office Support specialist to join Global Markets Sales & Trading. You will help calculate and value traded operations, produce ad-hoc reports, and assist in the trade capture of executed tickets while seeking strategic improvements to trading and sales processes.

The role requires knowledge of GM products including Repo, Fixed Income Securities Derivatives, FX, and Structured Notes, plus strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree required.
• SIE and Series 7 required.
• Complete NFA Long Track Proficiency Exam (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor all trades registered by Front Office employees to ensure flow through GM trading systems.
• Review and update reconciliations; propose improvements as needed.
• Trade capture and booking of OTC derivative transactions and securities.
• Monitor and control transaction-based reporting.
• Perform operational activities (e.g., security and account setup, trade blotter monitoring).
• Participate in projects involving process improvements, system implementations, new products or markets.
• Escalate urgent issues to management in a timely manner.
