Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in the Tampa Bay region is seeking a dedicated Front Office Team Lead to supervise the front office staff and ensure smooth patient access operations.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance, while maintaining a welcoming environment and coordinating with the Office Manager to keep clinic operations efficient. Strong communication and prior supervisory experience are required; healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule visits and testing to meet patient and physician needs.
Manage resource schedules and resolve member issues.
Perform daily duties of the patient services rep if needed (scheduling and maintenance).
Supervise front office staff and assist Office Manager in daily operations.
Orient and train Patient Services employees and provide guidance to the team.
Provide a welcoming atmosphere for patients and coach staff for efficiency.
Monitor staff performance, conduct evaluations, and manage PTO requests.
Ensure staff are trained in tools, policies, and procedures.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Front Office Team Lead for our medical office.
The role involves supervising the front office clerical staff aspect of the Patient Access Representatives and providing day-to-day operations in that area.
What You Will Be Doing

Ensure appropriate scheduling of visits and testing to meet the needs of the patients and physicians.
Manage the resource schedules, resolve member issues and use the system efficiently.
Perform regular duties of the patient services rep position, if needed (scheduling and maintenance).
Supervise the patient services staff in front office area. Some of the duties expected include:
Assist Office Manager ensuring all aspects of clinic operations are addressed daily
Perform, arrange and/or assist in orientation and training of the Patient Services employees.
Provide support and direction to members of the Patient Services team.
Facilitate a positive and welcoming atmosphere for the patients.
Direct, challenge and coach Patient Services employees to maintain efficient clinic operations and improve performance and teamwork.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, communicate effectively with employees, perform evaluations in a timely manner and counsel employees when needed. Perform documentation requirements.
Maintain adequate staff to cover departmental needs. Review and approve PTO requests.
Assure team members are adequately trained in the use of departmental tools, responsibilities, policies, and procedures.
Communicates problems, concerns, and/or proposed changes to Patient Access and Scheduler Manager.
Perform other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of CCC and in concordance with its patient philosophy.

Who You Are

High school diploma required. College education preferred.
