Summary

Job Overview

The Front Office Supervisor must possess strong leadership, communication, and relationship skills. They support senior leadership by developing and assuming management responsibilities. This role involves coaching, directing, training, and scheduling staff. The supervisor leads front desk agents responsible for guest registration and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role directly impacts the guest experience, involving tasks such as:

  • Processing payments and responding to guest inquiries
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Performing all Front Office tasks
  • Knowing product details, amenities, and brand standards
  • Acting as manager on duty and managing front desk operations when needed
  • Meeting or exceeding guest satisfaction metrics
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 1 year of Front Office experience in a lifestyle or boutique hotel preferred
  • Opera experience preferred
  • Strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Experience in VIP guest service and familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel
