Job summary

Mammoth Mountain is seeking a friendly Lodging Associate to greet guests, check them in, and coordinate room assignments across our properties in Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will handle reservations, answer questions, and process payments, while supporting a smooth guest experience with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

With one year of guest relations experience and basic computer skills, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing warm service and clear information about hotel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and at least 1 year in public/guest relations service.
• Ability to present information one-on-one and in small groups to guests.
• Ability to carry out written and oral instructions and apply common sense.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests; dispatch lodge staff per guest requests.
• Make, modify, and cancel reservations; serve as lodge telephone operator.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services and Mammoth California services; compute bills, collect payments, and check guests out.

A Little About This Position

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to Guests. Dispatches Lodge Staff such as Housekeepers and Maintenance Service employees in response to Guest requests.
• Makes, changes and cancels reservations. Serves as Lodge telephone operator.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services as well as other Mammoth California services. Computes bill, collects payment, and checks guests out of the hotel.

Requirements

• High school graduate with general business office training or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills required. Minimum of one year experience in public or guest relations service.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests.
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Hourly pay rate: $21.00
