You will register patients in Phreesia, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, schedule visits, and support the office team while upholding a positive patient experience.

• Accurately check patients in and out using the electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collect co-pays and balances at the time of service.
• Answer incoming calls and direct messages appropriately.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits according to protocol.
• Coordinate rescheduling, cancellations, and no show follow-ups.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits in advance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office.
• Provide general administrative support to the office team.
• Adhere to patient privacy and HIPAA regulations.

This role is responsible for greeting patients, managing check ins and check outs, answering phones and providing excellent customer service. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years of related experience in a customer-facing or administrative role
• Athena EMR experience
