Catalyst Physician Group in North Texas is seeking a Front Office Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients and to ensure a positive, seamless patient experience. This entry-level role focuses on greeting patients, managing check-ins/outs, answering calls, and delivering outstanding customer service.

You will use Phreesia for registration and the EHR for patient flow, with a priority on HIPAA compliance and accurate data collection.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.
• 1+ years of customer-facing or administrative experience preferred.
• Athena EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally.
• Phreesia registration.
• Check patients in and out using the EHR.
• Collect and verify insurance information and patient demographics.
• Collect co-pays and balances at the time of service.
• Answer incoming calls and direct messages appropriately.
• Schedule and manage appointments per protocol.
• Coordinate rescheduling, cancellations, and no-show follow-ups.
• Maintain front office cleanliness and organization.
• Provide general administrative support and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Role And Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally and and consistently create a positive patient experience
• Phreesia registration
• Accurately check patients in and out using the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Collect and verify insurance information and patient demographics
• Collect co-pays and balances at the time of service
• Answer incoming calls and direct messages appropriately
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits according to protocol
• Coordinate rescheduling, cancellations, and no show follow-ups
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits in advance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office
• Provide general administrative support to the office team
• Adhere to patient privacy and HIPAA regulations

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• 1+ years of related experience in a customer-facing or administrative role
