Northbound Executive Search is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team, focusing on front office hiring for hedge funds. This role partners with investment leaders, mapping markets and designing search strategies to secure top quantitative talent.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting across quantitative research, development, and trading roles, collaborating with senior stakeholders and advising on compensation dynamics.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of recruiting experience within hedge funds or hedge fund clients.
• Experience recruiting in quantitative research, development, trading, or related technical disciplines.
• Proven ability to map markets and build talent pipelines ahead of hiring needs.
• Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with senior stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead full-cycle recruiting across quantitative, trading, and investment-related functions, from initial search strategy through offer and close.
• Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, investment leaders, and other senior stakeholders to understand team objectives, investment strategies, and highly specialized talent requirements.
• Lead proactive talent mapping initiatives, identifying relevant firms, teams, strategies, and individual talent to support current and future hiring priorities.
• Develop and maintain detailed market maps and talent pipelines, leveraging research and market intelligence to provide visibility into competitor organizations and key talent pools.
• Develop thoughtful, research-driven sourcing strategies to identify exceptional talent.
• Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with high-caliber passive candidates, including individuals who may not be actively considering a move.
• Develop a nuanced understanding of candidate backgrounds, including academic credentials, technical expertise, investment experience, strategy exposure, and career trajectory.
• Conduct sophisticated candidate assessments, evaluating experience, technical alignment, motivations, judgment, communication style, and long-term fit.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insight into talent availability, competitive dynamics, compensation considerations, organizational structures, and broader market trends.
• Manage complex interview processes with a high degree of organization, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on offer strategy, candidate closing, and other aspects of the hiring process.
• Maintain disciplined and accurate recruiting data while leveraging market intelligence to inform broader talent strategies.
