Coda Search is partnering with a leading global asset management organization with offices located in Midtown, Manhattan. The Quantitative Recruiter will lead full‑cycle recruitment for multiple business units, partnering directly with PMs, senior leadership, and technical stakeholders. This individual will own sourcing strategy, candidate evaluation, and pipeline management for high‑impact hires across the firm.
Ideal candidates bring deep experience hiring quants within buy‑side, sell‑side, or top‑tier technology firms and thrive in a fast‑paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle recruitment for quantitative research, trading, data science, portfolio construction, and engineering roles.
- Partner closely with PMs, Research Leads, and HR leadership to understand talent needs and design effective recruiting strategies.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong pipelines of top‑tier quantitative talent across both experienced and campus channels.
- Develop innovative sourcing techniques to attract candidates with expertise in statistics, machine learning, mathematics, computer science, and alternative data.
- Screen candidates for technical aptitude, research depth, and cultural alignment; provide interview feedback and recommendations to hiring teams.
- Manage the interview process end‑to‑end, ensuring a seamless and high‑touch candidate experience.
- Conduct market mapping and competitive intelligence within quant trading, hedge funds, systematic platforms, and elite research institutions.
- Partner with internal teams to refine evaluation processes, analytics, and hiring methodologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting experience with a strong focus on quantitative research, trading, data science, or engineering roles.
- Background recruiting for hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, banks, or top tech companies strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates across competitive markets.
- Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder‑management skills.
