Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Front Office Software Developer to join the Equity Linked Structured Notes Technology team. The role focuses on Python development and collaboration with Trading, Structuring, and Quant teams to deliver scalable front‑office solutions.

You will work on complex, business‑critical systems with visibility across Trading, Sales, and Technology, contributing to a robust and high‑performing platform within the AMRS region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in technology roles (8+ preferred).
• Strong programming skills in OO/Functional languages including Python, C#, Java, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Code solutions and unit test to defined criteria and compliance.
• Design, develop, and modify architecture components and interfaces.
• Mentor engineers and promote CI/CD practices.
• Refine stories, define requirements, and estimate work.
• Perform spikes/proofs of concept as needed.
• Automate release activities.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Own the technology stack supporting secondary market activity for Structured Notes.
