The role emphasizes intraday and end-of-day risk and P&L explanations, with engagement in CI/CD practices. Strong communication and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience in financial services, front office tech preferred.
• Strong knowledge of risk systems, trading platforms, or pricing engines in fixed income.
• Proficient in OO or functional languages, Python preferred, Java/C#/C++ acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit tests to meet acceptance criteria and compliance.
• Designs and modifies architecture components and interfaces while maintaining integrity.
• Mentors engineers on CI/CD practices and automates tool stack.
• Refines stories, defines requirements, and estimates work for delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spikes to mitigate risk and test new ideas.
• Automates release activities and maintains automated test suites.
