Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Front Office Software Developer with a strong emphasis on Python development to join the Equity Linked Structured Notes Technology team. You will support the Pricing and Booking platform and work on complex, business-critical systems with visibility across Trading, Structuring, Sales, and Operations.

The role requires strong software engineering skills in Python, Java, and C# and is based in the AMRS region to collaborate with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Exceptional development skills in OO/Functional languages including Python (preferred), C#, Java, or C++.
8+ years of experience in technology roles supporting capital markets, derivatives, or structured products.
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern front-office systems.

Responsibilities

Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per acceptance criteria and compliance.
Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining architecture integrity.
Mentors other software engineers and coaches CI/CD practices and automating tool stack.
Executes story refinement, requirements definition, and effort estimation for delivery.
Leads system stability, production excellence, and resiliency for mission-critical platforms.
