Job summary

Flagstaff Bone and Joint is seeking a full-time, on-site receptionist to support a busy 20-provider practice. You will greet patients, verify information, register them in the EMR, collect payments, and help coordinate appointments with clinical staff.

Ideal candidates have medical office or billing experience, excellent communication and teamwork, and a patient-centered approach. Benefits include medical insurance, PTO, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with excellent customer service.
• Check patients in and out of appointments.
• Register patients into the EMR system.
• Collect co-pays and other payments.
• Verify insurance, demographics, and referrals.
• Maintain physician schedules and confirm appointments.
• Review provider schedules for accuracy.
• Schedule patient appointments for a very busy 20-provider practice.
• Assist with and relay patient requests to MA or other clinical staff.
• Perform admin duties such as processing medical records, sorting faxes, referrals, scheduling depositions, and managing messages from patients.
• Other projects/duties as directed.
• Serve as an advocate for FBJ's service promise to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Job Type: Full-time , 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 - 5 p.m.

Location: Flagstaff

Pay range: $18.75 - $21/hr plus PTO and Benefits

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and update current information on physician’s schedules ensuring that patients are scheduled properly, and appointments are confirmed.
• Review and monitor clinic/provider schedules often to verify accuracy.
• Schedule patient appointments for a very busy 20-provider practice.
• Assist with and/or relay patient requests/questions to MA or other clinical staff.
• Perform various admin duties such as processing medical records, sorting faxes, referrals, scheduling depositions, and managing messages from patients.
