Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Day shift Patient Services role at Gastroenterology-East Mesa in Mesa, AZ. The candidate will act as the first contact for patients, handle clerical duties, scheduling, registration, and data entry within a busy GI department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; answer calls and direct information.
• Provide imaging support tasks and retrieve PACS images.
• Schedule procedures and patient appointments; track no-shows.
• Perform patient registration and data entry; gather signatures.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and collect co-pays.
• Maintain patient charts per HIPAA; coordinate with billing.
• Process daily deposits and communicate updates to staff.
• Keep office supplies stocked and handle basic duties.
