Job summary

Select Medical in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to coordinate front-desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, and manage scheduling and next-visit information as they check out.

The role requires front desk experience, with preference for medical office exposure and insurance verification know-how. This is a full-time position based on a weekday schedule with mentorship and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
