Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience in a medical or physical therapy office preferred.
• Proficient with medical office software; WebPT experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and manage paperwork to keep appointments on time.
• Verify insurance benefits and pre-authorize therapy visits.
• Schedule and confirm appointments with reminders.
• Collect co-pays and payments; maintain accurate records in WebPT.
• Build and maintain patient charts; respond to medical records requests within 24 hours.
• Track evaluations/progress notes and follow up as needed.
• Manage patient waitlist to minimize schedule gaps for therapists.
• Assist with light office upkeep and supply ordering.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative team.
