Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott El Paso Downtown is seeking a hands-on Front Office Manager to lead our Front Desk team and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will oversee check-in/check-out, reservations, cash handling, and daily reports, while collaborating with Housekeeping, Sales, and Engineering to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to coach staff, manage high-volume periods, and handle guest concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in hospitality preferred.
• Previous Front Office or Guest Services experience required.
• Marriott or branded hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS systems and Front Office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front Office operations including check-in, check-out, reservations and cashiering.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to Front Desk staff for efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to Marriott brand standards and hotel policies.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to concerns and service failures.
• Maintain visible Front Desk presence and support during high-volume periods.
• Train, coach and develop Front Office employees to improve performance.
