Job summary

Hyatt Regency Indianapolis is offering a Manager in Training – Rooms / Front Office. This developmental leadership role provides hands‑on experience in hotel operations, guest service, and interdepartmental coordination while preparing you for future management opportunities within Hyatt.

You will participate in Front Office operations, assist guests, support colleagues, and learn scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance management under guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or business coursework preferred.
• 1–2 years in hotel front office, guest services, or related hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and guest service orientation.
• Willingness to learn, lead by example, and develop leadership skills.
• Comfort with hotel systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, welcoming guest service in Front Office operations.
• Support check‑in/check‑out, room assignments, and guest requests.
• Respond promptly to guest questions and service concerns.
• Assist with service recovery and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate VIP/group arrivals and high‑impact guest experiences.
• Learn scheduling, staffing, and leadership responsibilities under supervision.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, engineering, security, and other departments.
