Tri-City Cardiology is seeking a patient-focused Front Office Registrar to greet patients, collect co-pays, verify demographics, and manage discharge scheduling in a fast-paced clinic. This role requires attention to privacy policies, accurate data entry, and effective communication with patients and staff.

The position covers 6:45 a.m. starts to 5:30 p.m. shifts, with occasional crossover at other East Valley locations. A year of front desk experience and strong typing are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of front office medical receptionist experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Typing speed of about 40 wpm.
• Basic computer and math skills are needed.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to multi task.
• Excellent verbal communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, provide financial information and verify details at check-in.
• Explain financial policy, collect co-pays and past balances when applicable.
• Schedule testing, appointments and referrals as ordered by physicians.
• Print reminders and manage patient portal enrollment.
• Reconcile cash and daily deposits; maintain accurate records.
