Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Support the administrative team with various tasks and projects.
  • Ensure front office areas are organized and well-maintained.
  • Input and maintain data across software systems.
  • Request office supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate with Board of Directors and Administration on policies and directives.
  • Represent the school to the Board and community.
  • Follow grievance policy and handle conflicts per Employee Handbook.
  • Know procedures for emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with staff and Board of Directors and assist in program development.
  • Seek counsel from administration, colleagues, and parents while remaining teachable.

  • Cooperate with the Board of Directors and Administration on implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the operation of the school.

  • Effectively represent the school, its program, policies, and philosophy to the Board and community.

  • Follow the grievance policy as outlined in the Employee Handbook in dealing with conflict with students, parents, staff, and administration.

  • Know the procedures for handling emergency situations.

  • Work collaboratively with other staff, maintaining a supportive and encouraging relationship and assisting in the development and implementation of programs/processes to enhance the school's overall operations.
