  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

About Us: MedLink Georgia is a community-based nonprofit organization providing high-quality, affordable primary care to patients across Northeast Georgia. At our Cleveland location, we serve a diverse population with a focus on accessible, compassionate family medicine.

Position Overview: MedLink Cleveland is seeking a reliable and customer-service-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and organized front desk experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Verify insurance coverage and update patient records
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances
  • Answer multi-line phone system and route calls appropriately
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Support clinic operations by collaborating with providers and clinical staff

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a medical front office or customer service role preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
