Job Purpose:

To warmly welcome and assist guests with exceptional service, ensuring seamless check-ins and check-outs, and providing valuable local insights to enhance their overall experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests promptly and professionally.
  • Perform check-in/check-out using Opera, review bills, and ensure correct room types and rates.
  • Register guests, issue keys, provide hotel information, and answer calls courteously.
  • Upsell rooms to maximize revenue.
  • Process transactions accurately and handle cash and credit cards per procedures.
  • Communicate guest requests or issues to management.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and bell staff for check-ins, check-outs, and luggage.
  • Arrange transportation and review logs for arrivals and departures.
  • Manage room changes, guest visitors, and provide local recommendations.
  • Handle reservations in absence of reservations staff and maintain cashier bank.
  • Respond to guest complaints and perform service recovery.
  • Book reservations, process cancellations, and communicate shift updates.
  • Promote teamwork and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality.
Specific Requirements:
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions, preferably bilingual.
  • 1-3 months experience in a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of money, measurements, and operations.
  • Organizational skills and open availability.
  • Experience in a high-volume, high-end hotel is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand frequently, lift up to 50 pounds, operate systems, and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Be punctual, responsible, guest-service oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay rate: $25.13/hour

This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer; employment benefits are managed by a third-party management company.
