Job summary

Loews Hollywood Hotel, located in Los Angeles, seeks a Front Office Agent to deliver memorable guest experiences from check-in to check-out. You will greet guests, assign rooms, verify payments, and promote hotel services with professional hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

You should have at least 1 year of guest service experience, familiarity with Opera System, and the stamina to stand for long periods, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
• Experience with Opera System (PMS) preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Your Qualifications Include

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
• Ability to work weekends, evening, holidays as necessary/required.

The wage for this position is $29.70.
