Job summary

Loews Philadelphia Hotel is seeking a warm, professional Front Office Agent to greet guests, check them in and out, and ensure a memorable first impression. You will balance hospitality with efficient handling of payments and room assignments in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes clear communication, proactive problem solving, and teamwork to support multiple departments and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
  • Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
  • Ability to work weekends, evening, holidays as necessary/required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
  • Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
  • Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
  • Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
  • Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
