Job summary

Loews Chicago O'Hare is seeking a warm and welcoming Front Office Agent to be the face of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. This fast-paced role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive hospitality mindset to ensure every guest feels valued and cared for.

You will greet guests, assist with check-in and check-out, verify payments, and promote hotel services and local attractions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with a Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with previous Property Management System, preferred Opera System.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
• Ability to work weekends, evening, holidays as necessary/required.
