Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help deter theft and enhance the customer experience on the floor. You will greet customers warmly, monitor entrances/exits, and report incidents to the Manager on Duty while supporting training on shortage reduction programs.

The role requires strong communication, a helpful attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time hours with competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor the store environment.
• Excellent communication and a positive, energetic greeting with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence at store entrances/exits to deter theft.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and friendly tone.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Support and train staff on shortage reduction programs as needed.
• Keep safety and security standards at the front lines during shifts.
