TJ Maxx, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft, protect store assets, and support a safe shopping environment in our Ithaca location.

You will wear a body worn camera, greet customers, and collaborate with store teams to uphold safety and company policies while delivering excellent service. The role emphasizes vigilance, communication, and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Good decision-making abilities and sound judgment.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Ability to prioritize, organize workload and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• 0–2 years of retail or security experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a Company-approved uniform with a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to management or customer service when needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a manager.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
