Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate for TJ Maxx Worcester, MA. You will deter theft, support store leadership, and protect the company brand by standing at the front of the store, wearing a Body Worn Camera, greeting customers, and following the Store Emergency Response Guide.

Strong communication, decision-making, and the ability to work independently are essential. 0–2 years of retail or security experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss or dishonesty.
• Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via company radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
• Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
