Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate for the TJ Maxx Capitol Heights store to deter theft, support store leadership, and ensure a safe shopping environment. You will wear a body worn camera, greet customers, and work with LP and management on daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in retail or security, strong communication, and sound decision-making. This role offers hourly pay, benefits eligibility, and growth – within a Fortune 100 leader in off-price

Qualifications

• 0–2 years retail or security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Work well with store teams and Loss Prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Refer customer requests to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
• Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
