Job summary

Marshalls in Stamford, CT is hiring for a Loss Prevention role. You will deter theft, deter potential dishonesty, and support store safety while wearing a Body Worn Camera and uniform. You’ll partner with store teams and LP to protect customers and the company brand.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The job emphasizes safety, policy adherence, and proactive incident reporting in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Sound decision making when handling store incidents.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Prioritizes and organizes workload and manages time effectively.
• Able to stand for long periods in a store environment.
• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss or dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete company uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Respond to customer requests by referring to management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a manager.
