Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Connecticut seeks a Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily dining room operations, ensuring adherence to service standards and wellness guidelines. You will support training, scheduling, payroll, and coordination with the Restaurant Manager and Chef, while maintaining cleanliness and safety in a guest-focused environment.

You will contribute to coaching programs, inventory maintenance, and cross-department collaboration to ensure smooth guest flow and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience as a Food Server or Restaurant Host in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Specialty restaurants require two years of experience in gourmet/specialty venues.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities required.
• Knowledge of POS systems and beverage/service guidelines a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front-of-house restaurant staff.
• Assist in training, evaluating and scheduling dining room staff.
• Assist with weekly schedules and payroll.
• Maintain health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Coach line employees to enhance skills and maintain service standards.
• Support with inventory and par levels of supplies.
• Coordinate with Restaurant Manager, Chef and other departments.
