Job summary

Harriet's Hamburgers is seeking an enthusiastic Counter Server / Front-of-House team member to be the welcoming face of the restaurant. You will greet guests, describe dishes, enter orders, and handle payments at the counter, while keeping the dining area neat and inviting.

You will provide fast, friendly service, support table runs when needed, and contribute to a positive guest experience in a busy FOH environment.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience.
• A true “people person” providing exceptional and gracious service.
• Experience working with a Point-of-Sale system.
• Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Competency in counting money and processing payments.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently even in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greeting guests as they enter and leave the restaurant.
• Accurately describing dishes and making appropriate recommendations.
• Correctly entering orders into our Point-of-Sale system.
• Processing payments and serving food or beverages at the counter.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Providing quick, friendly, and accurate service.
• May be requested to run food to guests tables, clear tables and keep all aspects of the dining room area clean.
