Job summary

Chotto Matte is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the restaurant's day-to-day operations in San Francisco. You will drive performance, lead a high-performing front-of-house team and ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong standards and commercial results.

You will manage labour, costs and margins, partner with department heads, and ensure the venue operates at the highest standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in hospitality or a similar guest-focused industry.
• Proven experience in a senior management role within a high-volume, premium hospitality.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop and lead from the front.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring service, standards and performance are consistently delivered to a high level.
• Deliver the venue’s sales, labour, margin and profit targets in line with business objectives.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing team across all front of house departments.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of front of house team members.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen leadership team to ensure strong communication and coordination between front and back of house.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and operational readiness across the venue.
