Job Summary

As a Front of House Manager, you will manage a team of food service professionals, oversee overall service in the senior living community and special functions, and assist with interdepartmental relations and integration with the facility’s operational plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee dining services operations for up to 150 residents.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist with profit and loss management and budgeting.
• Collaborate with the Chef and management team on menu creation and food quality.
• Manage food service activities, including meal services, sanitation, infection control, and facility-related tasks.
• Support the rollout of new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Prepare quarterly reports for client presentations.
• Work with marketing and culinary departments to increase sales through innovations and quality improvements.
• Coordinate with culinary to ensure food programs align with company vision.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related operations.
• Waitstaff and catering experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial, budgeting, accounting, and computational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
