Texas Roadhouse in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a legendary Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in daily Front of House operations and to deliver Legendary Food and Legendary Service.

You will oversee service, train staff, handle scheduling, support promotions, ensure safety and quality, and help drive guest satisfaction and sales while maintaining our culture of passion, integrity, partnership and fun with purpose.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Front of House service
• Enforces employment policies in area of responsibility
• Oversees/approves Front of House side work
• Provides/oversees thorough training
• Works during peak business times to set the pace in the Front of House
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant
• Ensures 100% table visitation to gather customer insights and drive sales
• Leads by example to develop employees
• Cross-trains employees
• Oversees scheduling of designated departments
• Develops promotions to drive sales and conducts alley rallies
• Manages compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service training
• Understands and practices safe food handling procedures
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Helps control guest flow
• Assists with liquor inventory & ordering
• Assists Local Store Marketer with building sales
• Maintains culture and core values: passion, integrity, partnership, fun with purpose
